Johnny B is a local Costa Mesa experienced, professional voice actor, copy writer, radio producer, and music video director-producer.He is a graduate of the film and radio-television department of California State University, Long Beach earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973.He sharpened his voice acting skills at Del Mar Media Arts in Irvine, California. While at Long Beach State he produced a public affairs show-Perspective, and was the first Promotions and Public RelationsDirector at KSUL-FM duringits inaugural broadcast year in 1973.
He later returned to Long Beach State and received a Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration in 1979. He is currently working for the Federal Government, where he produced and directed two music videos enhancing the federal workforce in a positive light called “Returning America’s Investment”.
Johnny B has produced two local radio shows: The Sunday Brunch Show, and an early afternoon Blues Show and was a staff announcer for the local Newport Beach Radio Station KOCI-FM in 2010, before he left to create his current dream: The Wayback Machine.
Most recently, Johnny has teamed up with local Costa Mesa recording studio owner Mike Boyle of MBStudioservices.com to create a series of Educational Nostalgic Radiomentaries entitled, “Johnny B’s Legendary Rockin-Radio Wayback Machine” an educational series created to help preserve local radio history so that listeners can appreciate the talent of yesteryear and it’s much simpler lifestyle.
